Texas Holdem

Texas Holdem is one of the most popular poker games. Each player receives two cards while sharing five community cards with all players. The player who can combine their cards with only three of the community cards and make the best five card poker hand wins.

Omaha

Omaha is very similar to Texas Holdem where each player receives personal cards and shares five community cards. The difference is found in the amount of personal cards each player receives (four cards instead of two) and the different ways of betting.

Caribbean Stud

Stud contains a variety of variations. Even though Stud is probably one of the most popular home played pokers, it has been losing popularity over the years in casinos due to the community card games. Too much pure skill, so bad players lose quickly, and the game becomes fairly pointless when played with good players only.

There are so many variations of poker these days it is hard to keep track. There are games with mixed rules (HORSE, HOE, OE) and games with poker like elements which shouldn't actually be considered poker at all (Let It Ride and Pai Gow Poker).
