Call - making a bet equal to the previous bet

Calling Station - a player who always seems to call but never raises a bet

A starting hand with two sevens is known as Candy Canes while a starting hand with a king and a nine is known as a Canine.

Collusion occurs when players work in teams to take an advantage over the other paker players involved. They collude through secret signals to inform each other what cards they are holding. Collusion is cheating and therefore highly illegal in poker. Although often hard to detect in casinos, it is far easier to prove collusion between online players.

Comp Program - or comps, most sites online offer players cash incentives to signup and points or other benefits for loyalty
