When a player is losing so badly and he or she continues to play big money
for hands that have no chance of winning, this type of player is referred
to as a kamikaze .
When two players tie in the value of their cards a Kicker is used to determine
the winner. For example, if two players both have a pair of queens, and the
next highest card of the player A is and Ace while player B is a Jack, then
the kicker determines that player A is the winner.
The starting hand holding a King and Jack is known as Kojak , similarly,
the starting hand holding a pair of Queens is called ladies. Ladies
is derived from the singular lady which is used to describe a single
Queen.
